Scripture: Episcopalians believe that all things necessary to salvation are contained in the Holy Bible.

Tradition: Episcopalians believe that the Tradition of the Church, the teachings of the Apostles and those who follow, and the ritual and practices having their origin in the early church are part of the glue that holds us together as a worshipping and witnessing people.

Reason: Episcopalians believe that God gave us our minds to sort out Truth, guided by the Scripture and Tradition handed down to us by the Apostles. We believe that it is not necessary to agree with one another about every article of faith, but if we worship together and pray together, we can come to common agreement about what is truly important in leading a Christian life.
